ABHYANGA
Signature Ayurvedic Massage w/ Herbal Oils
An Ayurvedic detoxifying body massage using customized medicinal warm herbal oils.  The rhythmic and intoxicating strokes break up AMA (or toxins) improving blood and lymph circulation, eliminating muscle tension and fatigue, and fostering a greater immune response. A cleansing steam wrap and refreshing floral or herbal spritz enlivens this holistic treatment.  This well balanced routine truly touches the soul.  Add an Ubtan: an exfoliating rose and sandalwood blend to complete this transformational experience (additional $20).

SWEDANA
Herbal Steam Detox Treatment
A whole-body herbal  or eucalyptus steam treatment that dislodges impurities and toxins (physical, mental, emotional) while  keeping the core body temperature cool by applying refreshing packs to the heart, lower abdomen and head.  This mesmerizing experience induces a deep meditative state and calms the entire system. 
Also included is a refreshing scalp, hand and foot massage. This is a great “quick fix” during times of immune compromise.

SHIRODHARA
Classic Meditative Herbal Oil Treatment with Marma Points
 This luxurious treatment begins with a brief, but intensely relaxing scalp, head and neck massage.  A tranquil stream of warm herbalized oil is then meditatively applied to the third eye (between the eyebrows above the bridge of the nose) and specifically patterned across the forehead to induce a state of deep relaxation and peace.  Shirodhara may help to relieve insomnia, anxiety and depression, and synchronizes brains waves to awaken intuition and improve mental clarity. Shirodhara can be experienced on its own or following a massage or facial.

NASYA
Sinus Nasal Therapy
Begin this extremely therapeutic experience with a relaxing reflexology foot session.  Warm medicinal herbal oils are then massaged along specific marma points on the face, neck and shoulders with special attention given to the nasal area and cheekbones. 
To further alleviate pressure and aid in releasing built-up toxins, a warm compress is applied to the nasal area before inhalation of the deep eucalyptus steam.   Enjoy the slow application of specially formulated medicinal nasya oils directly into the nostrils before finishing with a final facial massage.  The Kvalagraha & Gandusa (herbal gargle) will whisk away accumulated impurities. 
Nasya helps to relieve sinusitis, dry and irritated nostrils, head tension, puffy eyes, dark circles, and improve mental focus and clarity.

MITTI CHIKITSA
Herbal Body Mud Wrap with Massage
This Ayurvedic mud compote is composed of a blend of rejuvenating herbs specific to your constitution (“dosha”) and its therapeutic application improves blood circulation, exfoliates the skin and draws toxins to the surface.  A brief reflexology treatment is completed while the body tincture sets.  Rinse off in our custom -designed stone and marble rain shower and prepare for a half hour aromatherapy lymphatic massage with warm herbal oils.  Resplendent!
This treatment may also be done with a Rose Clay mud or various other clays depending on body chemistry and desired effect.

GARSHANA + SWEDANA
Dry Herbal Massage and Steam Ideal for Weight Loss
A dry, full-body massage using a special decoction of herbs to enliven, revitalize exfoliate and enhance circulation.  Enjoy the application of a refreshing hair tonic to soothe marma points on the scalp. Finish with transcendent steam therapy to release toxins and reconnect you to your source. This treatment is specifically designed for kapha body types and is a wonderful partner in breaking up cellulite and invigorating and toning muscle tissue.

UDVARTANA
Great for Weddings or Special Occasions
Delight in a light dry brush massage to encourage blood flow to the surface of the skin and to provide a light exfoliation.  A light herbal plaster made from chickpea flour, herbs, milk and oils, based on your dosha, are massaged into the skin and left to moisturize and purify. Stress and stiffness melt away during a calming aromatherapy foot massage before showering in our reflexology rain shower.  A half hour aromatherapy massage finishes this extremely effective treatment that detoxifies and nourishes.  Udvartana has been a tradition in India for centuries and is still performed today often as a special treat to the bride on her wedding day

KARNA PURANA
Oil Ear Therapy
This cleansing therapy involves the ancient art of skillfully applying warm medicinal oils into the ears while activating specific marma points along the lymphatic channels.  May aid in hearing loss, relieving pain and congestion in the ear canal, and helps tinnitus (ringing) and relaxes jaw tension.  Included is a relaxing massage of the face, ears, neck and shoulders.  Couple this with Nasya for internal purification and transport to inner solitude!

SHIROBHYANGA
Exhilarating Aromatherapy Head and Neck Massage
An enlivening traditional Indian head massage where the head is anointed with medicinal oils that calm nerves, increase memory and stimulate hair growth.  Begin with a relaxing Ayurvedic foot bath with essential oils before marma points on the scalp, ears and neck are gently pressed to relieve tension and increase blood flow to the scalp. A light effleurage of massage strokes for the neck, shoulders and arms finishes this stabilizing experience that helps to relieve headaches, fatigue and stress.

SHIROLEPA
Aromatherapy Ayurvedic Hair Mask and Marma Point Therapy
Begin this invigorating traditional treatment with marma point therapy on the ears and head.  Then experience a luxurious blend of a face and neck massage with a nourishing herbal- coconut crème hair mask.  After heat therapy releases vital cleansing and conditioning agents, remove the mask in our relaxing reflexology shower and await the application of mango butter for extra conditioning.  Shirolepa is helpful in stimulating new hair growth; adding sheen and suppleness to the hair; and minimizing the harsh effects of environmental stress.
